Microsoft, Google, And Apple Shipped Agentic OS In Nine Days. LSA Dissolves Into PMax By December. Cycle 12 Closes.

Microsoft Build June 2-3. Cisco Live June 2-4. Google Marketing Live June 5. Apple WWDC June 8. Every major operating system surface and every major paid-search channel just declared agents the default execution layer inside one nine-day window. Standalone Local Services Ads accounts disappear into Performance Max by the end of 2026. Apple shipped Siri AI in developer beta this Monday on a Google Gemini-powered foundation. This is the convergence Cycle 11 forecasted. This is the week the forecast stopped being a forecast.

AI Search Intelligence for the Trades

Three platforms shipped agentic infrastructure inside nine days. Microsoft Build June 2–3. Cisco Live June 2–4. Google Marketing Live June 5. Apple WWDC June 8. Every major operating system surface and every major paid-search channel just declared agents the default execution layer.

This is the convergence Cycle 11 forecasted. This is the week the forecast stopped being a forecast.

If you skimmed last week's posts, here is the one paragraph that ties every trade together: AI Search cites 1.2 percent of local businesses, Mobile AI is built on Apple-Google's $1B Gemini deal that shipped this Monday, Trade Marketing economics now run on a $53 LSA blended CPL that is about to dissolve into Performance Max, HVAC absorbed a tariff cut and a price hike in the same week, Roofing got a $17,631 average replacement benchmark from Verisk, Plumbing is invisible to AI because of missing FAQPage schema, and Electrical is staring at a 2027 inflection when AI surpasses the Local Pack. Cycle 12 was the cycle the trades hit the agentic wall together.

LSA Disappears Into Performance Max By December

The biggest structural change in Cycle 12 came out of Google Marketing Live on June 5. Standalone Local Services Ads accounts go away by the end of 2026. Google is merging LSA into the main Google Ads platform as a Performance Max variation. Camp Digital CEO Katie Donovan walked through the timeline live at GML.

What that actually means for trades:

  • The clean $53 blended LSA CPL benchmark dissolves. Inside PMax, your lead cost will be reported as a blended signal across Search, Display, YouTube, Discover, and Maps inventory. Audit clarity drops. The Maximum CPL formula every trade owner just memorized still applies, but you will need a custom report to extract LSA-equivalent performance.
  • Google is now analyzing your onsite pricing copy and listening to your LSA recorded calls. Range pricing on your service pages, transparent diagnostic fees, and a clean call-handling script are no longer marketing hygiene. They are direct ranking inputs.
  • Book Online in-ad extensions ship inside PMax. Homeowners book the appointment without ever clicking to your site. Shops without a real-time scheduling endpoint on Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or Jobber lose the booking before the homeowner sees the second result.

Apple Shipped Siri AI Monday. Built On Google's Gemini.

WWDC 2026 confirmed every leak. Siri AI is live in developer beta as of June 8 across iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and visionOS 27. Public beta this fall. The new Apple Foundation Models on Cloud run on a partnership with Google — Apple's own AFM Pro is described as comparable to Gemini Frontier models.

Two operational implications for trades:

  • The homeowner on an iPhone 15 Pro or later will say "Find me a plumber for a leaking water heater this afternoon." Siri AI will return three options. If your shop is not one of the three, the booking goes to whoever is. The visual local-services search runs through the same engine as Google AI Mode and ChatGPT — the citation criteria are converging fast.
  • Siri AI initially excludes the EU and China. Shops with cross-border service areas (think Texas-Mexico, Pacific Northwest, regional border markets) operate in two different AI realities for the next 18 months. Plan for the US-first reality.

Microsoft And Cisco Made Agents First-Class OS Citizens

Microsoft Build June 2–3: Windows Agent Framework MIT-licensed, agents now first-class OS objects, Intune ships templates to govern agent behavior fleet-wide with allow/deny lists, spending caps, and an Agent Activity Dashboard. Project Polaris — Microsoft's first-party AI coding model — replaces GPT-4 Turbo as the default for GitHub Copilot in August.

Cisco Live June 2–4: AgenticOps launched. AI Concierge replaced IVR in Cisco's contact-center stack. Agent 360 manages a human-and-AI "agentic workforce."

Translation for trade shop owners: the small-business tools you already pay for (Microsoft 365, Cisco/Webex phones, RingCentral, GoHighLevel) will all ship agent integrations between Q3 2026 and Q1 2027. The shop that sets up the integration now operates on a different cost structure than the shop that waits.

Cycle 12 In One Page

Seven posts, one thesis:

  • Jun 4 — AI Search: Joy Hawkins measured the new AI Local Pack surfacing only 32 percent of legacy 3-pack businesses. Agentic booking SLA: sub-1-second slot return.
  • Jun 5 — Mobile AI: Apple paying Google roughly $1B per year for a 1.2-trillion-parameter Gemini to power new Siri. WWDC June 8.
  • Jun 6 — Trade Marketing: SearchLight February dataset — $6.72M tracked spend, 126,650 leads, $53 blended CPL, 43.9 percent book rate, $233 cost per paying customer, 7.84x ROAS.
  • Jun 7 — HVAC: Steel-aluminum tariff cut from 25 to 15 percent through 2027, June manufacturer price hikes, 1.2 percent ChatGPT citation rate.
  • Jun 8 — Roofing: Verisk 2026 report — $17,631 average replacement, claims down 20 percent, 16 hail states.
  • Jun 9 — Plumbing: 145M monthly home services queries, 55 percent proximity weight in Map Pack, FAQPage schema as the AI citation lever.
  • Jun 10 — Electrical: 43 percent of local searches trigger AI Overviews, 67 percent reference GBP directly, 2.4x profile views for cited shops, 2027 Local Pack inflection.

The Cycle 13 Posture: Three Moves Before July 4

Stop reading. Start executing.

  • Rewrite your Google Business Profile services field in homeowner language this week. The 67 percent AI Overview GBP citation rate makes this the single highest-leverage marketing task of the next 30 days.
  • Deploy FAQPage schema on your top five service landing pages by July 4. AI engines cite direct-answer content. Schema is the signal. Without it your text is content. With it your text is a citable answer.
  • Wire a sub-1-second real-time scheduling endpoint into Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or Jobber by July 15. Agentic booking ships across Google AI Mode, Apple Siri AI, and Google PMax this summer. Shops not on a supported stack get filtered before the answer.

The four platforms (Microsoft, Cisco, Google, Apple) just gave you the same calendar. The shop that absorbs Cycle 12's nine-day convergence and ships the three-move stack before July 4 owns 2027. The shop that waits pays the 10x catch-up multiple Comrade measured — assuming there is still a catch-up window open by Q3.

Cycle 13 opens tomorrow.

Ship The Three-Move Stack Before July 4

We rewrite your Google Business Profile services field in homeowner language to capture the 67 percent AI Overview GBP citation rate, deploy FAQPage schema on your top five service landing pages to clear the AI direct-answer threshold, and wire a sub-1-second real-time scheduling endpoint into Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or Jobber for agentic booking across Google AI Mode, Apple Siri AI, and Google PMax. Live in three weeks. Same playbook in HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical. No pitch.
